arrived at sunrise beach by speedboat from langkawi
Koh Lipe has fantastic snorkeling right off the beaches – grab your mask, snorkel and fins, wade on in, swim 10 meters or so and you’re already over some fantastic hard coral reef. There are also tons of fantastic snorkeling sites in the archipelago which Koh Lipe is part of – numerous uninhabited islands with pristine stretches of beach and crystal clear waters teeming with marine life.
Easy access from Singapore via Langkawi makes Koh Lipe the ideal destination for you. Catch an early morning flight to Langkawi, then hop on the 930 ferry for a one-hour trip to Koh Lipe.

Koh lipe is among top ten islands that i've been to in thailand.
There are many uninhabited islands near koh lipe which is more beautiful and clean than main island itself
These sites are easily accessed via daily organized snorkeling tours – prices range from 550 to 700 baht per person for a trip on a local longtail boat with up to 8 passengers, lunch included, usually picnic style on a beach. Alternatively you can charter an entire longtail boat for yourself (1200-1600 baht/day) and visit the sites and islands you want, on your own schedule – bring a map to show the driver or just point to the island and beach you want to stop at.
