Ride a sea bike at jeju island!

If you happen to be planning on trip to Jeju island in summer , you might want to add this to your "to do list" for your jeju trip,
Renting a water bicycle at Hwasun beach and peddle along the coastline to admire the view can be a good part of your trip.
You can even go fishing on a sea bicycyle for unique experience.
Hwasun beach is a dark sand beach located near Mount Sanbangsan, a 15 minute drive from Jungmun on the Seogwipo side of Jeju Island. There is even a spring water public swimming pool equipped with slides and plenty of seating for children, perfect for famaily vacation.
You can rent kayak or small yacht as well.

Jeju island's beautiful unknown beaches

Now that Jeju island is well-known holiday gettaways worldwide, Jeju's most famous beaches become too crowded at high season, not much different from other korea's popular holiday destinations.
It just gets too crowded and hectic that you might wish that you were not there.

udo in august, one of jeju's popular beach

There are still relatively unknown beaches in jeju island.
There is not much commercial facilities like shopping mall or restaurant so it might be inconvenient for some people, but if you like peace and quiet atmosphere, you might like to try these beaches

I recommed these 4 beaches

1. Geumneung beach in west of Jeju
2. Hamdeok Beach in the northeast of jeju
3. Hado beach in the east of juju
4. pyoseon beach in southeastern part.

*Geumneung beach

It's relatively isolated because it's located right next hyeopjae beach, one of the most famous beaches on jeju Island.
you can see remote small island from beachside.

*Hamdeok Beach

This beach is shallow, average depth only 1.5m which is ideal for kids to swim and kayaking

*Hado beach

On the other side of beach, there are habitat for migratory birds
You can see udo island from beachside and it has unique look and feel
It's too quiet ,almost like frozen in time and water is so clean

*pyoseon beach

Last but not least, this beach located near seogwipo beach, it's rather small sandy beach about 1km long and 200m wide
It forms circle shape when when the tide has receded and forms circle of 1m depth to the shape of the lake when tide rise.
There are campsites, parking, showers, etc. near the beach.
